Recently, the year's flagship global pharmaceutical industry event — CPHI Worldwide (the world's leading pharmaceutical ingredients exhibition) — came to a close at Fiera Milano (Milan International Exhibition Centre) in Italy. During the three-day exhibition, Laviana Pharma showcased its one-stop, full-process CDMO services for innovative drugs at the event, receiving pharmaceutical companies, R&D institutions, and supply-chain partners from multiple countries and regions around the world at Booth 12A58 to discuss project collaboration and technical services.

As a comprehensive pharmaceutical industry exhibition of leading scale and global influence, CPHI Worldwide has been successfully held for over thirty editions. CPHI Milan 2026 is expected to gather more than 2.900 exhibiting companies and attract over 60.000 registered professionals from 165 countries and regions, and for the first time launched the CPHI Sustainability Summit, with green manufacturing and sustainable development emerging as a shared focus of industry attention at this edition.
During the exhibition, Laviana Pharma's technical and business teams were stationed at Booth 12A58. providing on-site support for visiting clients on project collaboration, process consultation, and business matchmaking, and engaging in in-depth exchanges on technology transfer, joint development, green processes, custom manufacturing, and market access. Among these, technology transfer focuses on scale-up from laboratory and pilot scale to commercial production and the transfer of process parameters, while joint development involves collaborative process design and cost optimization tailored to clients' product pipelines. Visiting clients expressed clear interest in Laviana's process development capabilities, scale-up execution experience, and multi-specification batch delivery capacity; multiple rounds of business negotiations were completed on site with substantive progress made. Both sides reached a preliminary intent for follow-up cooperation, laying the groundwork for project implementation and the refinement of commercial terms.

Europe is one of the regions with the most concentrated demand for innovative drug R&D and high-end APIs globally, and also a priority market in Laviana Pharma's international expansion. In recent years, the company has continuously participated in international industry events such as CPHI Worldwide, CPHI North America, and DCAT Week, and on this basis established its European subsidiary, Laviana Pharma SAS, bringing its business and technical services closer to client markets. The coverage of overseas clients continues to expand, and the cycles of project communication and technical response have been notably shortened with the establishment of the local team.

In industry discussions held alongside the CPHI Sustainability Summit, green manufacturing and sustainable development were repeatedly highlighted — consistent with Laviana Pharma's long-standing technical approach: on the R&D side, a green-chemistry laboratory has been established to focus on building green technology platforms such as microreactors (continuous flow) and enzymatic catalysis, reducing material consumption and waste generation at the process source; on the production side, the company continuously optimizes process flows, improves energy efficiency, and strictly controls emissions of the "three wastes" (exhaust gas, wastewater, and solid waste), implementing sustainability requirements into the delivery of every batch of products.

The three-day exhibition has ended, but the connections forged through it continue. Laviana Pharma will follow up on the multiple cooperation intents formed on site, deepen collaboration with global clients along the directions of process development, technology transfer, and joint development, and continuously refine its international delivery capabilities and technical service system — so that the stability and professionalism Laviana Pharma demonstrates in international delivery will be seen and validated by more European clients.
