Recently, the "Yan-Zhao Qiaozhihui — Biomedical Industry Innovation & Development Salon," a symposium and exchange event hosted by the Hebei Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, was successfully held at the Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology. Chen Wenting, Chairman of Laviana Pharma, was invited to attend the event. Centered on the theme "Digital Intelligence Empowerment and Green Transformation: Exploring New Pathways for the High-Quality Development of the Biomedical Industry," the salon was hosted by the Hebei Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese and jointly organized by the Provincial Committee of Overseas Chinese Experts, the Provincial International Chinese Business Federation, the Provincial Alliance for Innovation and Entrepreneurship of New Overseas Chinese, the Shijiazhuang Municipal Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and the Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology. Fu Huidong, Party Secretary and Chairman of the Hebei Provincial Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese; Ren Zhuoping, member of the leading Party group, Vice Chairman, and first-rank inspector; and Wu Zhiyong, part-time Vice Chairman and Chairman of the Board of the Shijiazhuang Vocational College of Science and Technology, among others, attended the event. The session was moderated by Zhou Xiaohui, Deputy Director and Secretary-General of the Provincial Committee of Overseas Chinese Experts and Professor at Hebei University of Science and Technology.
More than 50 guests — overseas Chinese experts, clinicians, university researchers, and entrepreneur representatives from fields such as biomedicine, artificial intelligence, pharmaceutical parks, and health management — gathered to engage in in-depth dialogue on topics including AI-enabled new drug R&D and intelligent manufacturing, building collaborative innovation platforms, accelerating the translation of achievements in the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei region, green upgrading, and innovative drug creation, jointly exploring the pathways and prospects for the innovative development of Hebei's biomedical industry.
During the roundtable session, Chairman Chen Wenting drew on Laviana Pharma's years of practice in the small-molecule innovative drug CDMO field, sharing the company's approach of empowering new drug creation through integrated R&D and manufacturing services.

"I believe that further developing innovative drugs will play a leading role for Shijiazhuang and even the whole country," he said.
