R&D associate director

Job responsibilities:

1. Strong organic reaction mechanism skills, familiarity with organic name reactions, etc., and ability to solve more difficult process R&D projects;

2. Strong literature search and route design skills;

3. Strong ability to analyze diagrams;

4. Able to judge and predict possible problems in the project and propose effective solutions based on self-owned knowledge and experience;

5. Fluent in English and Chinese to communicate with customers, fully understand customer’s needs, analyze project priorities and difficulties, analyze required resources for projects, and develop detailed project plans;

6. Solve the difficulties and problems in the project and propose reasonable solutions;

7. Guide R&D staff to design and determine the synthesis route of the project and develop the project plan;

8. Strong communication skills and ability to lead a team of 5-10 people;

9. Experience in chemical process R&D and familiarity with chemical process flow.


Job qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree or above, 5 years of industry experience and experience in leading a professional team of more than 5 people, engaged in in organic chemistry, pharmaceutical engineering, medicinal chemistry or related majors

2. Good English listening and speaking skills

3. Able to comprehend chemistry profession

4. CRO experience preferred, with chemical process R&D experience (3-5 years).
